Dear Honourable members,
Greetings From TNOA!
Dear Esteemed Members,
It gives me immense pride to address you at a time when Tamil Nadu continues to play a pivotal and influential role in shaping the progress and vision of the Indian Orthopaedic Association.
Our state has consistently contributed to academic excellence, leadership, and innovation, standing as a benchmark for others to follow.
As we move forward, there is a growing need for stronger coordination and cohesion among the various zones of TNOA. Unified efforts, shared academic goals, and streamlined communication will ensure that we function as a single, dynamic force, further elevating our collective achievements.
Academic enrichment remains our core strength. I urge all members to actively participate in and promote our Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, Instructional Course Lectures (ICL), the TKS Midyear Conference, and the Tamil Conference.
These platforms are vital for knowledge exchange, skill enhancement, and maintaining the highest standards of orthopaedic practice.
This year also marked a proud and historic milestone with the successful organization of our Sports Day—truly a first-of-its-kind initiative in TNOA history.
It not only fostered camaraderie but also reminded us of the importance of physical wellness and team spirit within our fraternity.
I would like to place a sincere request before the Executive Committee to focus on increasing our membership strength. Expanding our community will bring in fresh perspectives, energy, and ensure sustained growth of our association.
With collective determination and renewed enthusiasm, I am confident that we will reclaim our prestigious recognitions, including the OASIS and the IOA Best Chapter Award.
Together, let us strive to restore and surpass our past glory.
Let us continue to work hand in hand for the advancement of orthopaedics and uphold the proud legacy of Tamil Nadu.
Warm regards,
Dr S Marimuthu
