Life members will be eligible to apply for the prestigious fellowships of TNOA viz TNOA Prof. A.J. Selvapandian Travelling Fellowship and TNOA
Dr. Muralidharan-Dr. Vanasekar Travelling Fellowship and TNOA foreign fellowship

As per decision taken in the General body meeting held at TNOACON, 2012 Vellore it has been decided that anyone who wants to become a member of TNOA must also become a member of IOA. They have to take the membership together or show proof that they have already become a member of IOA.

Requirements of Membership
- IOA & TNOA Membership form with photo.
- For Life Membership: DD for Rs.5000 for TNOA – Favour of “TAMIL NADU ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION” Payable at Chennai & DD for Rs.5000 for IOA – Favour of “INDIAN ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION” Payable at Delhi.
- Two photo copies of PG degree registration with state medical council of India.
- Application proposed or seconded by your local area member (At least one)
- For Associate Membership: DD for Rs.9000 for TNOA – Favour of “TAMIL NADU ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION” Payable at Chennai.
- Two photo copies of the Qualifying Degree / Diploma Certificate / Certificate from the HOD for associate member.
(Note: One entry system for Associate Members (Post Graduate): Rs 9,000 which Includes Associate Membership of IOA. They will become life members after submitting their orthopedic degree certificate & there is no need to pay any additional fee for the same.)

Associate Members
- Associate Members may be elected from those who are doing Diploma in Orthopaedics or M.S. Ortho or other Ortho P.G. Course recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- One entry system for Associate Members (Post Graduate): Rs 9,000 which Includes Associate Membership of IOA. They will become life members after submitting their orthopedic degree certificate & there is no need to pay any additional fee for the same. Associate Members shall have the right of attending scientific meetings and social events and engaging in all scientific discussions but they shall not attend business meetings and take part in elections.
